Breaking: Sharjeel Khan can Resume Cricket in one condition PCB


Sharjeel Khan can Resume Cricket in one condition PCB official stated that he could play cricket again for the Board if he accepts his Engagement in spot-fixing during second season of PSL. Sharjeel Khan who was banned by PCB Anti-Corruption Tribunal for 5 years in August 2017 during 2nd PSL edition. Last time he was played in February 2017. The suspension relinquish off means that Sharjeel will soon serve his designated ban (30 months – two and a half years). Hence, he could soon return to cricketing action. The mighty power hitter left-handed opener has been on the side-lines for the last two and a half years. Since a few years PCB manage well to control spot-fixing after a Lords test scandal where three Pakistani crickiters Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Muhammad Amir were involved in match fixing each of them faced 5-years banned. And serve Jail also for plotting No-Balls. Agent Mazhar Majeed also sentenced in prison. The scandal was took place in England vs Pakistan test match in 2010 at Lords. Later Mohammad Amir accepted his involvement and blames Salman Butt for doing so.

However then now PCB makes strict decisions to avoid these type of scandals. Sharjeel's banned could be end soon. Quaid-e-Azam Trophy gets underway in September. However, there is one condition. A PCB official stated that Sharjeel Khan could take part in the Quaid-e-Azam tournament only if he admits to his involvement in the spot-fixing controversy. Moreover, he needs to apologize for his actions as well.

Sources are claiming that  left-handed opener is ready to accept the five charges PCB laid out against him but is hesitant to admit to the spot-fixing claims. his lawyer, Shaighan Ejaz admitted that his client wants to play cricket again. Ejaz said that once they receive an answer from the pcb.
